Summer School is a consumer of time. :(

But it is also a good thing! :)


I learn something new every time I step into my Hawaiian class. :heart:

For example, the significance of 2010.


Everybody is busy talking about 2009 because it is the 50th anniversary of statehood. But the real coincidence is that 2010 will be the 200th anniversary of King Kamehameha's unification of all the Hawaiian islands.

Isn't that interesting? Just one year after celebrating Hawai'i's official connection to America, we'll be remembering a time when Hawai'i was its own nation, ruled by kings and queens. A time of sovereignty.

Hehe guess where I'm at! Yup! Hawai'i! On Maui near Kapalua. I'm sitting in the condo lookin outside at the ocean, clouds, sky, and mountians. Sigh! Awesome! Haleakala sunrise tomorrow x3 I love my camera!
